Rod Duncan – Crime, Fantasy and Science Fiction Writer
At eight years old Rod Duncan found out that he was dyslexic. He avoided writing at first, but as writing software improved he found he was able to enjoy writing and telling stories. He is a volunteer moderator at beingdyslexic.co.uk, where he supports other dyslexic people and their families.
Rod Duncan writes in a wide range of mediums, from screenplays to novels. He has won several awards, including the CWA New Blood Dagger for his first book Backlash. His book The Bullet-Catcher’s Daughter was shortlisted for the Philip K Dick Award.
In addition to writing himself Rod Duncan teaches creative writing at The University of Leicester.
